WASHINGTON — The fitness app fitbit.com is going for the high end with its latest offering.
The wearable fitness tracker, which started shipping in July, has gained steam in recent months with fitness enthusiasts and fitness trainers, with a number of fitness apps on the market.
The company is targeting a market that was already struggling with health insurance and insurance-related issues.
Fitbit says the Plus model, which costs $200, is the first Fitbit device to be more affordable, but also offers more features.
It has a GPS, accelerometer, heart rate monitor and a heart rate sensor.
It also has an Android Wear smartwatch version.
It comes with four fitness bands, including one of Fitbit’s own.
You can choose from five colors to match your style.
The device can be charged via USB cable or wirelessly, which is also a convenient option for some.
It can also be worn as a wristwatch.
Fitbit Plus comes with its own apps, which can be downloaded from the Apple App Store or Google Play, and can be configured for the Fitbit app.
The app is available for Android devices, Windows PCs and Macs, and it also comes with a fitness monitor and other fitness and health accessories.
